Once again, we visited West Bridgford at their excellent football facility. The pitch was immaculate, the weather was dry, but cold and everything looked good for a challenging match between two sides that have already met twice this season.
The game started at a fierce pace with both sides battling all over the pitch.
Buoyed by their recent win, the Star Strike lads took at early lead through a fine goal by top-scorer, Ezra.
The celebrations were short lived however, as the home side scored two goals in quick succession following some pinball activity and poor defending in the Star Strike box.
Unlike previous occasions though, heads didn't drop and the scores were levelled when Maxi found the back of the net from distance.
This was followed up by another goal after captain Jacob fired in a fierce shot from outside the box, which was turned into his own net by a West Bridgford defender.
Star Strike were running rampant now and no-one enjoyed themselves more than Man of the Match, Jokubas who helped himself to two fine goals before the final whistle.
Overall, a fine performance from the lads and another well-earned win!
