This is the second time that we have played this spirited U10s team on their ground, and we came away with the same result!
A much improved performance from the Star Strike lads, after a poor showing last time out.
Players are starting to learn what is required from them in their various roles, and the team is starting to gel as a whole.
Both goals came in the first half, first from Maxi then a great goal from Reuben from a narrow angle, finding the far corner.
The defence is starting to look really solid, with some great clearances from Riley, who is starting to show his ability in the centre of defence, with Dylan and Cameron either side. Cayleb was pleased to keep another clean sheet.
A good debut performance from Pharen who came on for Cameron in the second half. His first game, but already settling into the side with some good forward passes to Kiran down the right flank.
Thank you to Gedling Southbank U10s for another great game - they too are showing a lot of improvement since we last met.
