U11s take on Matt’s All Stars!

This match was arranged due to the planned fixture being cancelled at short notice.
Our U11s team played a team coached by Matt consisting of Saturday morning regulars.
The game was played at a great pace, with both sides creating chances, but the U11s came out winners with goals from recently-returned Ezra who then provided the assist for Reuben to score a third.
The All Stars scored a consolation goal late on in the game and almost got a second but for the goalkeeping heroics by Cayleb, blocking a shot then palming the second attempt round the post.
A great match played in the true spirit of the game, with lots of smiling faces at the end.
Thanks to Matt and Steve for refereeing the match. Would be good to do this again, as Scott and Steve have their eye on a couple of Matt's players with a view to giving them a trial with the team!
